Kid Blink, one of the newsies who truly existed during the strike of 1899 and in fact one of the leaders, is aptly named as he wears a patch over his left eye. Kid Blink is one of the featured newsies and can often be seen in the background, usually fooling around with Mush and Racetrack.

Trey Parker's real name is Donald McKay Parker III. He was born May 30, 1972. He is a big cat lover and in fact has 3 cats of his own. He first performed as Christopher Robin in his home of Auburn, Alabama in "Winnie the Pooh." He then continued to perform in the community, later enrolling in the High School of the Performing Arts in New York. He has appeared on "Doogie Howser, M.D." (and you all know that Max Casella was on that show) and "Thirty Something."


Trey also supposedly guest starred on Roundhouse, where Ivan Dudynsky, better known to Newsie fans as Dutchy, and Mark David, known as Specs, and Dominic Lucero, known as Bumlets, and David Sidoni, known as Pie Eater, were a regulars .Trey was also a series regular on the eight episodes of "Hull High" where he worked with the very same Kenny Ortega as in Newsies. He and two friends (one of whom was a dancer in Newsies) put together the band E.Y.C. (Express Yourself Clearly) they broke up back in 1996 but have gotten back together as of 1999. The released a single called "I feel it". Trey is said to want to return to acting and has been in commercials.
