He's the wisecracking newsie who's always willing to play the odds. You remember him, he's the Italian newsie who's always smoking his cigar (unless Snipshooter's taken it.) At any rate, he's a loyal friend, protecting Jack from the police in the Lodging House and helping Medda to escape when Irving Hall was under seige. In fan fiction, he's a really convenient plot device, too.

You all remember Max from his role as Vinnie on "Doogie Howser, M.D." He was born and raised in Cambrige, Massachusetts. He realize at age 12 in a high school production of "Pippin" that he wanted to become an actor. He moved to New York at age 18 and landed a job at Theatre 22, studying under the tutelage of veteran character actor Sid Armus. He'd been seen in films such as Ed Wood and Sgt. Bilko. He's been on stage from boston to Los Angeles.
