Boots is the eleven year old newsie. Yeah, you know the one I am talking about! The one who is nervous around Spot Conlon. He is always hanging around somewhere near Jack. He even goes to brooklyn with Jack and give Spot some shooters. Not many may like Boots but I personally think he is adorable.

ARVIE LOWE, JR. portrays Benjamin "Boots" Arvis, a shoeshiner-turned-newsie. Arvie attended the Regina School of Performing Arts and got his career start while performing at a birthday party at the school. His first job was a film entitled Box Office Funny, which he followed by touring Europe with a friend as a dance team for Reebok. Arvie has also appeared as a voice in the 1992 film Bebe's Kids, and as a Rainbow House child in 1994's I'll Do Anything.
